We’re looking for a Manager to join the International Markets team! As the Americas leader in the Distribution Partnerships team, you will be responsible for developing, pitching and executing strategic initiatives with Snap’s Telco partners across our key markets in the region. Reporting to the Global Head of Distribution Partnerships and working from Santa Monica office, you will take advantage of the Snap brand, features, content and offers to drive Snapchat community growth and engagement through win-win partnerships with Telcos. The right person for this role has a proactive disposition, excellent relationship management skills and an in-depth understanding of the telcos and platforms across North and South America. What you’ll do:
Lead all acquisition and engagement initiatives through Telco partnerships to maximize community growth and engagement; accountable for programs from ideation through execution, approvals, and performance tracking
Achieve ambitious near- and long-term community growth goals through value in-kind, promotional offers, and co-branding activations
Collaborate internally and externally to develop out of the box programs that capitalize on unique audiences and value propositions specific to each market
Champion Telco partners within Snapchat; advocate and educate cross-functional team members on the opportunities and audiences that each partner presents, ensuring partner placements are a cohesive extension of Brand and Product strategies
Identify, pitch, and implement a pipeline for strategic growth opportunities with Telco partners that help achieve goals across awareness, affinity, acquisition and retention
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or another related area of study
6+ years experience working in Platform companies and / or in Telcos in the Americas region; strong business development and partner management skills
Preferred qualifications:
Existing strategic relationships with Telcos in US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil a plus
Ability to lead cross-functionally, building teams, and encouraging talent
Strong quantitative and analytical skills along with excellent partner management skills
Outstanding communication and presentation skills that enable you to build consensus and enthusiasm among internal and external stakeholders
Detail oriented, with exemplary project management skills that enable you to hit deliverables on time
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company
Outstanding communication and presentation skills; fluency in English and at least one of the major languages in the region
