The first step in the customer journey begins with our Sales Development team.

As Director of the Sales Development org you will play a critical role in driving high quality pipeline for both inbound and outbound channels.  You will own the development of people, processes and technology needed to ensure that SDRs spend most of their time having meaningful conversations with high quality prospects.

What you’ll do: 

  • Help shape and drive Sales Development strategy and processes within your organization to impact short and long-term goals
  • Stay abreast of organization drivers and proactively spot areas for improvement across multiple channels (inbound, outbound, events, etc.)
  • Serve as a mentor for your managers and team and be a steward of the ServiceTitan organization
  • Measure and hold accountable SDR Manager performance
  • Proactively identify and institute creative methods for improving conversion rates and reducing Sales Cycle
  • Report to Sales & Marketing leadership on operational and financial KPIs
  • Develop and implement programs to help motivate, incentivize, and drive higher performance throughout your team
  • Collaborate with HR and Enablement to drive retention, maintain headcount, and onboard successful new Team Members
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other department leaders to raise organization efficiency and effectiveness 
  • Meet and exceed your team's monthly sales goals

What you’ll need: 

  • 8+ years of experience in sales with 3-5 years leading sales managers/sales development teams for a technical product or SaaS company
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • Leadership: ability to motivate and manage a team of SDR Managers to exceed team performance and professional development
  • Cross-functional collaboration: receive buy-in and trust with Sales Leadership, work with Leadership of other orgs on process improvement, statements of work, and process optimization  
  • Short-term / Long-term Strategy: implement strategy to exceed monthly goals with ability to plan ahead to exceed annual goals through headcount and team performance
  • Time management: effectively handle 1:1 meetings with each SDR Manager direct report while also managing any team meetings and initiatives 
  • Performance management: provide specific, actionable feedback SDR Manager direct reports as well as identify and reinforce key traits that drive positive results in order for SDRs to exceed team and individual quotas
  • Budgeting / Comp: partnering with Finance, Rev Ops and Sales Leadership in tracking against budget as well as solutioning team needs
  • Teamwork: partner with other managers ensuring alignment across department, cultivate team dynamic within own team, and foster teamwork across leadership
  • Precise Forecasting: demonstrated ability to forecast performance across all sales channels with 90% accuracy
  • Public Speaking: run SDR Manager and SDR team trainings, bootcamps and segment meetings
  • Scripting: iterate and improve messaging across channel with a metric driven approach
  • Compliance Management: ensure compliance across all channels for SFDC, SLAs and talk-tracks
  • Project Management: development of bootcamps, framework for professional development and upleveling skills for SDR promotions
  • Experience growing and scaling a successful sales development team in a fast growth environment
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and lead qualification and prospecting-related applications
  • Enthusiastic leader with the ability to inspire others
  • Deep understanding of generating pipeline through outbound activity
  • Consistent track record of quota overachievement in teams that reported to you 
  • Must be a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment
