The Role:

StackCommerce is looking for an Account Manager to build deep relationships with our existing partners, driving retention and account growth. This detail-oriented individual will lead in the creation of sales proposals, onboarding new advertisers and serve as the client’s primary point of contact to ensure the success of the campaigns and help drive renewals.


What you’ll do:

  • Consistently and proactively monitor advertiser campaigns to ensure on-time content delivery, 
  • Provide internal stakeholders with high-level visibility across campaigns to ensure accurate expectations are set with the client by maintaining reporting/content tracker with content statuses
  • Identify potential client issues and work with the internal team to address
  • Join recurring client calls to provide updates on campaign status
  • Own and support client and internal team by maintaining and supporting process alignment across project management system
  • Preparing sales proposals
  • Putting together insertion order
  • Service existing clients
  • Create and maintain sales reports
  • Monitor creative development and production
  • Assist Sales with Lead Generation
  • Preparing enticing sales proposals
  • Work with the editorial team to provide updates on content changes and needs, and align on priorities across accounts
  • Support the creation of team documentation and process collaboration, as well as client-facing resources
  • Ability to assist on smaller production projects.
  • Other duties as assigned


What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 to 3 years of account management experience, preferably tied to marketing
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Sense of urgency in responding promptly to all client and internal requests.
  • Will need to gain an understanding of the advertising process, particularly Account Planning/Research.
  • Agency experience as an Account Coordinator preferred but not necessary
  • Proven experience supporting multi-dimensional, highly complex projects
  • Proven experience with reporting and supporting deliverable throughput needs
  • Some understanding of marketing strategy and execution
  • Ability to speak confidently with internal stakeholders and willingness to learn to speak confidently with clients
  • Higher education experience is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Asana and Salesforce is a plus

  • Homework Assignment: We send over a quick exercise that challenges you to solve a problem and come up with a creative solution. Get a feel for what you’ll be doing on a daily basis!
  • Remote-Team Interview: You’ll be meeting with 7 team members on a video call. This is your chance to ask questions and see who this role interacts with on a daily basis.
  • Final Video Call: This is a great opportunity to get to know our COO or CEO over video.
