STARLIMS provides leading Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) solutions that have served customers around the world for nearly 40 years. Our solution suite helps labs:

  • Improve the reliability of sampling and testing
  • Manage complex testing workflows and analytical methods
  • Simplify compliance and support regulatory standards
  • Unlock comprehensive reporting, monitoring, and analysis

With multiple support centers across the globe, STARLIMS is used in labs across pharma & biotech, food & beverage, petrochemical refineries, oil & gas, chemical, public health, clinical diagnostics, and more, offering you exposure to a wide range of industries and opportunities to grow.

We value people who are curious, accountable, collaborative, and empathetic. Our teams are small, nimble and have a strong drive to succeed. If you are seeking to build your career while working on a technical product that our customers can’t live without, you'll feel right at home here.

The Role:

As our Product Marketing Manager, you own how the full STARLIMS family of products is positioned and taken to market. You will build a deep set of customer and market understanding and turn it into effective messaging that resonates with each of the industries we serve, and sets up sales conversations that close. You will do this across internal sales enablement, external content (e.g., battlecards and pitch decks) and field marketing programs (e.g., webinars and events).

You are a critical voice in both product and GTM strategy, helping us build what our customers need and deliver it via the channels that resonate the most. This is not a role for someone who waits for direction. Our team is small, agile and fast-moving, and we’re looking for a driven builder with a high motor: someone who pushes through roadblocks, ships quickly, learns from the field, and keeps raising the bar.

  • Own positioning and messaging across the STARLIMS product family, including STARLIMS, Moda and Labstep.
  • Craft industry-specific messaging for the different ICPs STARLIMS sells to, so every buyer sees how we solve their lab’s specific challenges.
  • Shape the product roadmap by bringing market, customer and competitive insights to Product Management through customer interviews, win/loss analysis and market research.
  • Plan and deliver compelling launches in partnership with Product Management, from messaging and content through sales readiness and post-launch measurement.
  • Lead sales enablement, building the pitch decks, demos, battlecards, objection handling and training our sellers need to win long, complex enterprise deals.
  • Own competitive intelligence, tracking competitors, maintaining battlecards, and arming Sales and Product with clear guidance on how we win.
  • Support our field teams at physical and virtual events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars and customer events, with messaging, content, demos and presence.
  • Build customer proof, including case studies, references and customer stories that show measurable value.
  • Use AI tools to speed up research, content creation, and competitive and market analysis.

About You:

  • You are based in the US
  • You have 5+ years of product marketing experience in B2B
  • You have supported enterprise or similarly long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • You have worked closely with Product Management teams to shape roadmaps, build external messaging and deliver compelling launches
  • You have supported field and sales teams through physical and virtual events
  • You have built sales enablement and competitive intelligence programs that sellers actually use
  • You can take a technical product and make it simple and compelling for different audiences, from lab technicians to executives
  • You have a high motor - you push through roadblocks, move fast, and don’t stop until the job is done
  • You’ve worked on small, fast-moving teams and are comfortable with a high rate of change
  • You are a self-starter with a strong bias for action - you identify opportunities, build solutions and move quickly without being told what to do
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency using AI tools in product marketing work
  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with LIMS or similar technical B2B SaaS products
  • Experience marketing to scientific, regulated or technical buyers
  • Experience marketing a portfolio of multiple products

At STARLIMS we offer market competitive benefits such as:

  • Competitive health and Wellness (medical, dental, and vision)
  • Retirement plan with matching company contribution
  • Life Insurance and Disability/Income Protection

STARLIMS is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, creed, religion, color, national or ethnic origin, citizenship, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, genetic information, veteran status, age or disability status.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
