About the Role

Deluxe Med Spa is looking for a Phone Sales Associate to manage inbound and outbound calls, convert leads into booked appointments, and make sure no inquiry goes unanswered. You’ll anchor at the Deluxe location of your choice (Los Angeles, Diamond Bar, Hacienda Heights, Brea, or Irvine) and support phone operations across all of our sites.

This is a sales role with a real career path. If you have med spa experience, enjoy the phone, and want to grow into a higher-earning sales career in aesthetics, we’ll invest in getting you there.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage inbound calls promptly and professionally, and follow up on missed calls, web inquiries, and leads the same day
  • Convert prospective clients into booked appointments through consultative phone sales
  • Coordinate scheduling across Deluxe locations using practice management software
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, follow-ups, and lead status
  • Collaborate with clinic managers and front desk teams to ensure a smooth client handoff
  • Track and report on lead volume, conversion rates, and call activity
  • Support outbound outreach for promotions, re-engagement campaigns, and appointment reminders

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a med spa or aesthetics setting (phone sales, front desk, patient coordination, or sales) — required
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken — required
  • Mandarin Chinese proficiency, written and spoken — strongly preferred
  • Confident phone presence with strong sales instincts
  • Working knowledge of aesthetic treatments (injectables, lasers, skin treatments) and how to talk about them with clients
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high call and follow-up volume
  • Comfortable working across multiple locations and teams
  • Proficiency with scheduling or CRM software (Zenoti experience a plus)
  • Available Monday–Friday

Your Growth Path

We promote from within, and this role is built as the first step in a sales career at Deluxe:

  • Phone Sales Associate: Build your foundation in consultative selling, treatment knowledge, and client relationships, with commission on every booking you drive.
  • Aesthetic Sales Consultant: Strong performers advance into in-person consultations, working directly with clients on treatment plans, with higher earning potential and expanded client-facing responsibilities.
  • Sales leadership: For those who want to keep growing, there’s room to develop into leading and coaching a sales team.

You’ll get hands-on training in aesthetic treatments and sales technique, regular feedback on your numbers, and a clear picture of what it takes to move up.

Compensation

  • $25–32/hr + commission

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
