Offit Kurman, a growing full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Los Angeles or Century City office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience and will support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case investigation and initiation through discovery, trial, and post-trial proceedings.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage document collection, preservation, review, organization, and electronic production using applicable litigation support platforms and software.
  • Coordinate and organize the intake, tracking, and production of discovery-related requests and documents.
  • Prepare and assist with drafting discovery requests, responses, and other litigation-related documents.
  • Maintain detailed and organized discovery dockets and case databases.
  • Calendar and track litigation deadlines, court dates, and other critical case-related deadlines.
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including evidentiary hearings, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Utilize litigation management tools and trial presentation software as needed.
  • Conduct legal and factual research using various research tools and resources.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting a litigation practice.
  • Strong understanding of California state and federal litigation procedures.
  • Working knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, and litigation practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with demonstrated experience maintaining detailed dockets, databases, and case files.
  • Strong research skills and experience using legal research and litigation support tools.
  • Ability to independently manage and prioritize a high volume of deadline-driven work.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and support multiple attorneys and matters.

Work Schedule

This position will initially require working in the office five days per week. After a 90-day introductory period, the firm will evaluate the possibility of a hybrid schedule consisting of four days in the office and one day remote.

The successful candidate may work from either our Los Angeles or Century City office

Compensation

Salary range: $110,000–$125,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
