Provide strategic employment advice and counseling to employers on a broad range of labor and employment matters. Independently manage a varied workload from multiple partners with minimal oversight, while supporting complex and multi-plaintiff employment litigation as needed. Litigation Associate/Counsel will manage commercial litigation matters through pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, hearings, trial preparation, and court appearances. The role includes drafting and arguing motions, conducting legal research, preparing memoranda, supporting case strategy, and collaborating with attorneys across multiple practice groups and offices. Travel within California is required as needed. The position offers remote or hybrid flexibility and focuses on legal work rather than business development.

Advise high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on advanced estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning. Design sophisticated trust and wealth-transfer structures, oversee complex estate and trust administration, counsel on business succession and philanthropic planning, and maintain trusted client relationships.

Serve as first chair in complex commercial litigation matters, handling trials, hearings, dispositive motions, discovery strategy, and trial preparation in state and federal courts. Manage high-exposure business disputes independently, supervise and mentor associates, and help expand the firm’s California litigation practice.

Senior trusts and estates attorney responsible for drafting comprehensive estate plans, advising on tax-efficient strategies (irrevocable trusts, ILITs, SLATs, GRATs), managing high-net-worth and middle-income client relationships, leading in-person client meetings, and supporting firm business in the Los Angeles office.
