Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to join our team and oversee a variety of projects primarily focused on customer implementation and internal launch of their Groundswell programs.  This person may also oversee internal initiatives from time to time focused on enhancing organizational efficiency, adoption of new workflows, processes, and tools, and go-to-market experimentation.  The right person for this role is highly organized, solutions-oriented and an exceptional communicator.

Responsibilities

Customer Implementation Projects:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for customer implementations, from initial due diligence to successful technical implementation and handoff to the customer’s account manager.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with functional leads to identify areas for process optimization and automation.
  • Liaise between customer implementation leads and Groundswell engineers leveraging strong business and technical acumen for effective communication and collaboration. 

Internal Projects:

  • Develop project plans and manage project execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Measure project outcomes and provide regular reports to senior management on progress and impact.
  • Analyze experiment results, gather insights, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years experience in customer support or project management, preferably at a B2B software start-up.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Rocketlane, Jira, Asana).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process improvements and drive efficiencies.
  • Strong business and technical acumen, able to collaborate effectively with customers, engineers, sales, and marketing teams.
