Technical Sourcer
We’re seeking a Technical Sourcer to build and execute sourcing strategies that identify and attract potential candidates for our technical and product teams; acting as a talent advisor to your recruiting partners and hiring managers. You’re ready to engage with candidates to deeply understand their experience and motives.
You’ll also identify and prioritize operational processes and frameworks to support the needs of the team - with a focus on flexibility, adoption, and alignment with our company culture. You’ll do this by digging in to deeply learn our company, product, team, market, and very intentional company culture. This learning will give you the context you need to adapt all operational processes and frameworks to meet the specific needs of the team.
To get started, you’ll develop a project plan, identify immediate needs, and establish a meeting cadence to get ramped up. You’ll work closely with the CPO and the Product Team Leads, including outsourced resources, to support their needs through systems, offloading workload, and identifying solutions to inefficient and ineffective workflows.
Initial Responsibilities
- Source passive talent at high-volumes while maintaining a quality pipeline that results in hires every quarter
- Utilize multiple recruiting resources and advanced sourcing techniques to identify top talent tracking things like: current company issues, vesting stage, willingness to move, industry interest, tech stack interest etc.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the company's ATS that helps track candidates long term and produce actionable analytics
- Schedule and coordinate interviews
- Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand the requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization
- Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, talent mapping, events and sourcing campaigns
- Build and share knowledge of skills, target companies, conferences, and open source communities with recruiters and hiring managers
- Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques
- Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine basic qualifications
- Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders
- Recommend and drive improvements that positively impact talent pipelines
- Experience working with and building sourcing strategies with Recruiters and hiring managers
- Experience developing and executing candidate generation and research techniques
- Experience screening resumes to match qualifications
- Experience engaging and activating passive candidates
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of sourcing experience with in-house recruiting team, search firm, or agency
- 1+ year of interaction experience working with Engineering Managers and Directors, ingesting new requirements, adjusting candidate expectations and updating pipelines accordingly
- Proactive approach toward problem-solving; you must be effective at jumping into a project with a high emphasis on completion
- Ability to context switch and multi task in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality; staying cool, calm and collected under pressure
- Professional, post college level written and verbal communication skills
