We’re looking for a Sr. Director of Total Rewards to join Snap Inc! What you'll do:
Drive Snap’s total rewards (compensation, benefits, perks, and stock administration), including philosophy, design, and program execution for all functions globally
Understand industry best practices and lead effective, competitive, and fair/equitable total rewards programs ensuring market competitiveness and cost-effectiveness
Run ongoing market analysis to ensure competitive compensation offerings (for external offers and existing employee base) and short/long-term retention strategies to drive the right behaviors and attract and retain top talent
Lead the Compensation teams to perform job evaluations, conduct market surveys, collect and analyze market data, and maintain salary survey data
Develop recommendations for annual budgeting and planning while maintaining internal and external equity in pay plans
Accurately interpret, counsel, communicate, and educate the business at large on pay philosophy, policy, and practice, ensuring all compensation programs are administered fairly and consistently
Lead Steering Committee made up of cross-functional stakeholder for compensation-related matters
Develop and distribute compensation related materials for Executive Leadership, our Board of Directors, our Compensation Committee, and our Equity Committee, as well as our external reporting
Benchmark executive and director compensation levels, gauging the alignment of executive pay and company performance, and monitoring updates from peer group
Streamline existing and develop new compensation and governance processes
Develop tools to monitor, measure, and analyze compensation and benefit/perk program offerings, and stay aware of emerging trends in these areas
Lead the Stock Administration team that:
administers the company stock plans,
prepares and provides information to employees about vesting schedules, exercise process and eligibility,
prepares new hire and other stock grants, and
maintains and updates stock databases, prepares reports and performs analysis
Leverage subject matter expertise to advise Business Leaders, People Team partners, as well as Finance and Legal partners on total rewards-related matters
Lead and develop members of the Compensation, Stock Administration, & Benefits teams
Perform ad-hoc analyses and manage special projects as needed (e.g., leveling, organizational planning, compensation strategy, retention programs, etc.)
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree
10+ years of experience in Compensation (including Executive Compensation)
Preferred qualifications:
15+ years of experience in Compensation (including Executive and Sales Compensation), Equity, Benefits, and Employee Perk Programs
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
Familiarity with payroll experience (ownership or partnership)
Executive presence with a business mindset
A track record as a trusted business partner to senior executives
A track record of developing and managing a successful, high-performing globally-distributed team
Experience with incentive plan design as well as equity program management
Ability to creatively develop and adapt compensation strategies that deliver on the unique needs of the organization while avoiding unnecessary expense, process or bureaucracy
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organization—a true team player
Strong analytical skills and the ability to think conceptually
Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Intuitive decision-making skills
