GOAT Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Global People Operations who will play a pivotal part in building and scaling the People Operations function.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the People Operations team, which includes overseeing and scaling the day-to-day operations, prioritizing workload among the team, and offering guidance around resolving inquiries/challenges that arise
  • Be responsible for developing efficiencies within processes, workflows, and procedures related to the operational effectiveness of people transitions; you will partner with HRBP’s, Payroll, Benefits, IT and others to ensure continuity and successful delivery of operational services
  • Help build the infrastructure for an HR help desk; define and improve how quickly and accurately we address all questions that come to the People team, ensuring empathy in all responses
  • Document all People Operations related processes and maintain process overview records for both internal (within People Team) and external utilization 
  • Partner with cross functional teams and the Sr. Program Manager on the People Operations team to create & maintain end-to-end onboarding processes for multiple employee types and global locations
  • Partner closely with the HR Systems team on building out system configurations, managing settings, business process enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring overall data quality and integrity
  • Develop and deploy training and communications plans to support the launch of new system capabilities or features
  • Partner with Legal to facilitate and communicate HR policies & handbook, updates, and changes in accordance with company objectives and federal/state legal requirements
  • Ensure legal compliances with local labor laws and HR best practices, including but not limited to I-9’s, EEOC filings, Anti-Harassment Training, Background Checks, and Worker’s Compensation
  • Manage compliance-related training such as harassment prevention and timekeeping policies; oversee rollout across multiple employee types (i.e. retail, warehouse, and corporate)
  • Support the career development for members of the People Operations team
  • Assist with other duties and projects as assigned

We are looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in HR/People Operations
  • A proven leader and great team player with a collaborative mindset towards the team
  • Prior experience supporting and building a scalable infrastructure with a strong interest in the employee onboarding experience
  • Experience in leading and supporting department-specific and org-wide strategic initiatives, soliciting buy-in, partnering with cross-functional partners and driving scalable solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Proven ability to calmly and effectively work through ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Strong background in HR Systems. Experience with UKG HRIS system is a plus
