Golden Hippo Media is currently looking for a Learning & Development Manager who will lead the ongoing professional growth of our dynamic team. We will rely on your ability to look at our ever-growing talent base and ensure effective training strategies are in place for everything from bringing new employees on board to building the competencies of our leadership team. Adapting easily to change and having a comfort with scaling programs for employee-base growth are skills that will help the right person succeed in this role.

WHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE
- Sets strategy for and provides input into vision for the overall employee training and development initiatives with the goals of improving overall individual and company performance, developing skills and competencies, and further developing careers.
- Develops annual and quarterly roadmaps for training and development.
- Leads the organization's internal learning and development function including (though not limited to): new employee orientation, new manager training, compliance training, leadership development, and coaching of leaders and individual-contributors.
- Establishes consistent, scalable content/programs with data-based success measures. Continuously reports on progress and uses data to continuously launch new and drive improvements for existing programs.
- Designs, develops and implements training curricula; develops training programs and collateral (i.e., Web-based courses, instructor-led, job-aids, videos) for delivery in classroom, Web-based, mobile device, and/or blended learning environments.
- Facilitates training delivery
- Research, identify, implement and manage a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Partners with HR and leaders across the organization to assess and develop the company’s talent via development and facilitation of competency modeling and career pathing, talent assessments and succession planning, and performance and promotions process management.
BEST CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
- 7+ years of experience in Training, Leadership Development, Talent Development / Talent Management, Organizational Development or related field
- 5+ years of experience managing training programs and leading people
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Ability to strategize resulting in positive, impactful business results; Business Acumen
- Advanced Oral and written communication skills; Public Speaking
- Ability to meet commitments and support change while working independently and staying focused on deadlines
- Ability to translate audit findings, assessments, and gap analysis into recommendable actions to senior staff
- Learning Management Systems; New System Implementation & Administration
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with the following systems:
- G-Suite: Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Google Slides
- Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.
