Payroll and Benefits Manager
We’re seeking an experienced payroll professional with an entrepreneurial drive who’s tired of being a cog in a large machine and is looking to create meaningful impact in an organization. You’ll join a growing operations team and take ownership of all payroll and benefits responsibilities (total rewards) while driving to constantly improve the process. The less time our customer-facing teams spend thinking about things like timecards, 401k deductions, or compiling offer letters the more time they can spend serving customers.
This role will work closely with our Financial Controller and our COO to take ownership of every aspect of payroll and benefits. You’ll start as a team of one and own ADP, taking personal accountability for making sure payroll runs smooth week after week. After mastering our payroll system and earning ownership of it, your responsibilities will expand to more aspects of benefits administration, payroll process/tool optimization, and additional HR process improvements. Demonstrate great work, great judgement, and adapt to our unique and high functioning culture that emphasizes personal ownership and you’ll quickly earn a tremendous amount of responsibility, autonomy, and professional opportunity.
This role is an incredible opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded HR professional to earn the responsibility of designing and building a world-class payroll and benefits system for a mid-size company (100-200 employees) distributed across the US.
*This HR role will not be involved in cultural initiatives, conflict resolution, or employee career development.*
