Who We’re Seeking:
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide a broad range of HR support.
Your priority will be to ensure that HR practices are in compliance with regulatory requirements. In addition, you will play an integral role in systems and procedure development. This could look like benefits administration, employee relations, offboarding, HRIS support, or planning a company wide trivia night!
The ideal candidate is an HR expert who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about process, and demonstrates a high level of competence and commitment to HR best practices and employment laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
- Point of contact and administrator for employee on-boarding, benefits administration, leaves of absence, workers compensation programs, etc.
- Prepares and submits employment data changes related to new hires, transfers, promotions; all in accordance with the company’s payroll processing schedule
- Processes payroll, ensuring accurate and timely submission
- Prepares and delivers termination paperwork, including the preparation of exit interview surveys as well as coordination of all off-boarding activities
- Coordinate and own contractor and temporary employee process
- Ensure necessary compliance postings are up to date, and trainings are complete
- Maintain Human Resources information system records and reporting
- Support on the implementation and administration of HR programs such as performance review process, benefits open enrollment, HR system updates, etc.
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 7+ years of human resources experience
- PHR and/or PHR-CA certificate in HR preferred
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and problem solve while being able to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Exceptional communication skills
- Working knowledge of current federal and state employment laws
