Job Description

The Events Coordinator serves as the liaison between the event sales team and event execution team to ensure all parties have a detailed understanding of scheduled events and each client’s expectations.  

Reports to the Events Sales Managers and General Manager of Restaurants. 

  • Responds courteously to guest inquiries regarding availability, usage of products, the range of services, restaurant offerings, classes at Eataly’s Chef’s Table, recipe help, and location of products throughout the market 

  • Communicates with the sales team and clients to meet all public and private event requests 

  • Coordinates client requests in a timely manner 

  • Develops menus and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) together with the store team for private dining events and La Scuola cooking classes 

  • Follows up on special orders with management staff and kitchen 

  • Performs other duties as required or assigned 

The pay rate for this position is $23-26 hourly.

Qualifications

  • 2+ year in a similar role 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 

  • Hospitality or retail experience perffered

  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills 

  • Proficient computer skills   

  • Detail-oriented in writing and physical spaces
