GFiber is expanding into new markets and the CPE Supply Chain Planning Lead plays a key part in supporting that expansion strategy. This role will be responsible for sales, inventory and operational planning (SIOP) activities for customer premise and network engineering equipment.

Role Description

As the CPE Supply Chain Planning Lead you will be part of a dynamic Supply Chain Management (SCM) Team. Working together with supply chain, sales, marketing, product, finance and engineering you will be responsible for building a consensus forecasting program that reconciles to the capital budgeting process. This role will partner with OEMs to balance market share, manage lead times and negotiate pricing to maximize capital and achieve financial objectives. These activities will be achieved through detailed understanding of all demand signals, inventory targets and effective management of excess and obsolete inventory. You will also be responsible for new product introduction (NPI) planning to ensure seamless inventory transitions between legacy and new technology.

In this role, you'll:

  • Sales, inventory and operational planning (SIOP) 
  • Manage OEMs to include pricing negotiations, SLA performance and market share
  • Forecast collaboration between supply chain, sales, marketing, product and finance
  • De-risk supply disruptions & delays
  • Minimize excess and obsolete inventory

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or a similar field of study, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years experience in Demand Planning (SIOP) or Procurement roles
  • 7 years of experience in capital budgeting and forecasting
  • 7 years of experience in supplier management and negotiations 
  • 7 years of experience with SAP and inventory management software
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time domestically.

It's preferred if you have:

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to include managing through influence, communication and leading cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Understanding of forecasting dynamics associated with equipment returns and reuse
  • Experience in supply chain network optimization and equipment refurbishment and repair
  • Experience using advanced demand planning applications (Blue Yonder, o9, Kinaxsis)
  • Familiarity with telecommunications inventory challenges and regulations

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $157,600-$213,400 + bonus + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
