Own day-to-day spacecraft and mission operations, including telemetry monitoring, anomaly investigation, maneuver planning, ground-station coordination, commissioning, LEOP, and orbit-raising campaigns. Develop operational procedures, flight rules, automation, and fault-management processes. Lead real-time shifts and readiness simulations, collaborate with engineering teams, and mentor operations engineers while supporting 24/7 rotating coverage.

Operate spacecraft and develop mission-operations infrastructure for a growing satellite constellation. Responsibilities include monitoring telemetry and spacecraft health, investigating anomalies, planning maneuvers, coordinating ground-station passes, supporting satellite commissioning, maintaining procedures and command sequences, automating monitoring and anomaly response, validating operations through simulations, managing fault responses, and participating in 24/7 rotating shifts.

Set the technical direction and architecture for satellite ground software supporting constellation-scale operations. Build, deploy, operate, and troubleshoot command, telemetry, mission planning, fleet management, networking, automation, security, and observability systems. Lead launch and commissioning activities, improve reliability, define ground/flight engineering practices, make infrastructure sourcing decisions, mentor engineers, review designs and code, and support hiring. The role requires extensive ground systems experience, AWS and Kubernetes expertise, strong networking knowledge, and proficiency in Python, C++, and/or Rust.

Develop and operate satellite ground software for telemetry ingestion, command generation, spacecraft uplink, and mission control workflows. Build operator tools, dashboards, automation, and alerting; deploy systems on AWS and Kubernetes; maintain CI/CD and infrastructure as code. Integrate ground-station hardware, networks, and GSaaS providers, validate end-to-end data paths, monitor system health, troubleshoot mission systems, and provide 24/7 on-call support.

Manage day-to-day social channels, support event planning and on-site execution, create marketing materials and website content, draft copy, produce photo/video assets, track performance, coordinate with PR and business development, and maintain brand consistency.

Lead and build Reflect Orbital's permitting function from scratch: secure site operating approvals, engage FAA/FCC/state/local regulators, landowners and utilities, address environmental and dark-sky concerns, translate regulatory requirements into design constraints, manage a growing pipeline of permits, and represent the company to regulators and communities. Heavy travel and hands-on stakeholder engagement required.

Manage daily operations of the Hawthorne office: maintain supplies, vendor relationships, safety, shipping/receiving, conference scheduling, contract repository and signatures, budgets and invoices, event support, visitor check-ins (including export-control protocols), and provide administrative support to leadership.

Drive proactive sourcing and outreach for engineering, manufacturing, and operations talent in aerospace. Build and maintain candidate pipelines, partner with hiring leads to define roles and speed decisions, represent the company at industry events, and manage high-volume searches with tailored engagement and follow-through.

The Composites Engineer will develop and optimize composite structures by refining processes, running experiments, and collaborating on manufacturing. Responsibilities include designing tooling and maintaining quality controls.

The GNC Engineer will develop vehicle dynamics and control simulations, implement controllers on space hardware, analyze orbits, and support architecture decisions.

Lead and scale Reflect's mission management function to move spacecraft from planning to orbit. Own launch and regulatory strategy, coordinate launch providers, FCC/spectrum work, integrated schedules, readiness reviews, and external deliverables. Build the team, operating system, and processes while personally resolving critical mission blockers and managing high-risk external interfaces.

Own end-to-end mission execution for spacecraft launches, managing schedules, launch-provider interfaces, regulatory submissions (FCC/spectrum), technical deliverables, reviews, risks, and cross-functional coordination to ensure launch-readiness and on-time mission milestones.

Design, develop, analyze, manufacture, and test spacecraft components. Build and ship tooling and test setups, rapidly prototype, and iterate. Work hands-on as an individual contributor on tasks that directly support a flying satellite constellation during a minimum 12-week in-person internship in Hawthorne, CA.

Own end-to-end direct supply chain for satellite flight hardware from prototype through production: sourcing, RFQs, supplier qualification, PO placement and tracking, long-lead and shortage management, and material-readiness dashboards. Partner with engineering, manufacturing, test, and quality to translate BOMs and drawings into procurement packages, negotiate terms, and reduce supply risks through dual sourcing and strategic buys. Build supplier programs, approval lists, and operating systems to keep spacecraft builds on schedule.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design, prototype, and validate spacecraft components, ensuring reliability and functionality under tight deadlines.
