Summary:We are seeking a dedicated, driven, and enthusiastic Wholesale Specialist. We partner with brand owners and retailers to bring high-quality, on-trend products to market through an efficient, data-driven distribution network. The Wholesale Specialist is the principal selling agent. You’ll open and scale new channels (independent & chain grocery, convenience, specialty retail, and B2B wholesale), executing the sales plan, and land new brands, pilot assortments, and convert wins to repeat revenue while coordinating with Ops/Logistics, Marketing, and AR to launch smoothly and profitably.

Job Responsibilities:

  • New Channel Development: Prospect multi-threaded (field visits, events, email/phone/LinkedIn); run first meetings, samples, and pilots.
  • Account management: Conduct regular in-person visits and virtual check-ins; present assortments, pricing, promos; place orders; monitor sell-through and inventory health.
  • Sales execution: Understand and execute the branch/region sales plan, including price updates and promotional calendars; communicate plans to customers and internal teams.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Partner with Operations/Logistics on deliveries, with Category/Marketing on launches and POS, and with AR to support timely collections
  • Customer insights: Anticipate customer needs, recommend solutions, and relay market feedback to inform demand planning and new product opportunities
  • Brand building: Support trade shows, samplings, and distributor/retailer events; deliver professional product training and line reviews.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sourcing, or account management, preferably in CPG, retail, or eCommerce.
  • Comfortable selling into independent groceries, ethnic and mainstream retail, and foodservice; knowledge of distributor mechanics.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; data-literate (Excel/Sheets) with CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot).
  • Bilingual proficiency (Korean/Japanese and English) is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to travel for business meetings and trade shows.
