ABOUT QUINCE

Quince is a destination for builders, creators, innovators, and operators who want to come together and challenge the status quo. Our mission is simple: make really high quality essentials for really low prices, fairly and sustainably. We deliver on that mission through a unique manufacturer-to-consumer (M2C) model eliminating the layers of traditional retail that add cost and result in consumers paying more than they need to. We find, build relationships with, and work directly with the manufacturing partners behind some of the world’s finest products. From there, our teams design smart, efficient operational processes  and build and deploy proprietary technology, AI, and analytics to help us scale fast.

What began with a small assortment of elevated basics has quickly grown into a cross-category brand spanning apparel, accessories, home goods, and more. Today, tens of millions of people across a growing number of countries come – and return – to Quince because they trust us to deliver.

OUR CULTURE

Quince is a culture built for builders by builders. Our way of working starts with a blank sheet of paper. We question conventional thinking, use technology and data to uncover new opportunities, and move quickly to turn ideas into reality. We aren’t interested in replicating how others do retail. We’re building a better way – at a speed and scale unlike anything that’s been done before.

  • We dream big and chase the hard problems others shy away from. Rejecting long-held assumptions is part of our company's DNA.  Where conventional wisdom says you have to choose – soft or durable, speed or rigor, quality or price – we ask why that trade-off has to exist in the first place.
  • Our pace is fast and the bar is high because our customers expect a lot from us and we refuse to let them down. We believe the best results come from challenging ourselves, learning from one another, and building on each other's strengths.
  • Here, responsibility is not determined by role, tenure, or seniority. Every team member - no matter their level - has the opportunity to drive our business and shape our trajectory.

If you’re someone who likes to imagine new possibilities and build better systems rather than plug-in to outdated ones, Quince is the place for you.

THE ROLE

Video Editor, Multimedia

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Video Editor / Multimedia Designer to join Quince’s Paid Social team. This role will primarily focus on editing compelling, performance-driven video content for Quince’s Canada market, with opportunities to support static creative and graphic design needs as well. You will help bring creative concepts to life across paid social channels, including TikTok, Pinterest, Instagram, and Meta, producing engaging content that combines elevated brand storytelling with best-in-class digital commerce.

You will partner closely with Creative Strategists, Brand Creative, merchandisers, copywriters, and Paid Social channel managers to develop and execute creative assets that resonate with Canadian customers across English and French audiences. The ideal candidate is a strong video editor with a sharp creative eye, an understanding of digital advertising, and the ability to move quickly, iterate on creative, and deliver high-quality, brand-right work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Creative Iteration & Testing: Develop and execute video variations, incorporating feedback and performance insights to improve creative effectiveness and support ongoing testing.
  • Motion Graphics & Static Design: Create motion graphics, text overlays, and supporting static assets as needed to support paid social campaigns and creative initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Creative Strategists, Brand Creative, merchandisers, and copywriters to translate creative briefs and campaign concepts into compelling content.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all creative assets align with Quince’s visual identity, creative standards, and messaging across channels and formats.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current on social media trends, video editing techniques, and evolving digital advertising formats to bring fresh ideas and creative approaches to the team.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally creating content for digital advertising, social media, or direct-to-consumer brands.
  • An up-to-date digital portfolio demonstrating strong video editing skills and relevant examples of social or performance marketing creative. A portfolio is required for consideration.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animation.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Figma to support static creative and basic graphic design needs.
  • Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, visual composition, typography, and the use of music, transitions, and motion to create engaging video content.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital advertising formats, particularly TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and Pinterest.
  • Ability to adapt existing creative into multiple formats, placements, and variations while maintaining visual quality and brand consistency.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

  • Experience editing content for multiple audiences, markets, or languages.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
