Owns the full sales cycle for smaller, faster-moving healthcare technology opportunities, including prospecting, discovery, remote demonstrations, business-case development, pricing, proposals, forecasting, and closing. AIRS Medical is a healthcare technology company using AI to make medical imaging faster and more accessible. Our FDA-cleared solution, SwiftMR, accelerates MRI scans by up to 50%, helping healthcare providers improve efficiency and the patient experience. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for people who want to make a meaningful impact on the future of healthcare.

🔹 AIRS Commercial Philosophy

At AIRS, we believe disciplined thinking and strong commercial results reinforce one another.

We expect our people to meet or exceed their commitments, create pipeline proactively, forecast accurately, and deliver consistent performance. How we achieve those results matters: through sound judgment, strong discovery, credible business cases, executive engagement, and helping clients make good decisions.

Our job is not to convince every client to buy AIRS. It is to understand what the client is trying to accomplish, determine whether there is a problem worth solving, quantify why it matters, and help the organization make a sound decision.

We value discernment over persuasion, evidence over assumption, and meaningful progress over activity alone.

Our commercial team operates within a disciplined model for account strategy, discovery, qualification, business-case development, executive engagement, and opportunity management. We value process because it improves judgment and execution, while still expecting independent thinking, adaptability, and sound commercial instincts.

Across every role, we look for people who are curious, coachable, commercially minded, comfortable with ambiguity, capable of thinking on their feet, and accountable for measurable outcomes.

🔹 The Opportunity

The Commercial Account Executive owns a defined segment of smaller and faster-moving opportunities that can be effectively managed through a primarily remote commercial motion.

This is a full-cycle sales role, not simply lead qualification.

You will create pipeline, conduct discovery, develop value, manage opportunities, and close business efficiently without sacrificing the quality of the client decision.

Requirements

🔹 What You Will Own

  • Revenue and pipeline across an assigned account segment
  • Outbound prospecting
  • Discovery and qualification
  • Remote value and product conversations
  • Business-case development
  • Pricing and proposal progression
  • Opportunity management through close
  • Forecasting and CRM discipline
  • Escalation to field or strategic-account resources when complexity requires it

🔹 Results You Will Deliver

  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue quota
  • Deliver consistent monthly and quarterly bookings
  • Maintain sufficient pipeline and opportunity volume
  • Produce strong conversion from qualified opportunity through close
  • Manage sales-cycle velocity without sacrificing qualification quality
  • Maintain accurate forecasts
  • Expand existing accounts where appropriate
  • Operate a predictable and scalable commercial motion

🔹 What Great Looks Like

You move quickly without becoming transactional.

You determine early whether a problem is real, meaningful, and actionable.

You communicate economic value clearly and simply.

You maintain high opportunity velocity while still practicing disciplined qualification.

You know when an opportunity belongs in the commercial-account motion and when complexity warrants field or strategic-account involvement.

🔹 What You Will Do

  • Prospect into assigned accounts and market segments
  • Conduct structured discovery
  • Identify operational and economic value drivers
  • Run remote commercial conversations and demonstrations
  • Develop appropriately scaled business cases
  • Manage pricing, proposals, contracting, and close
  • Coordinate with Market Executives and Directors, Strategic Accounts when appropriate
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management
  • Use conversion metrics and opportunity data to continuously improve performance

🔹 The Athlete We Are Looking For

You are:

  • Fast-moving but thoughtful
  • Highly organized and disciplined
  • Comfortable owning the full commercial conversation
  • Financially fluent enough to articulate economic value credibly
  • Strong with executives even in remote settings
  • Curious and coachable
  • Able to ask thoughtful questions rather than rely on scripted qualification
  • Comfortable handling objections and changing direction in real time
  • Motivated by outcomes rather than activity volume alone
  • Consistent in execution and comfortable being measured against clear performance expectations

🔹 What You Bring

Required

  • Successful inside-sales, full-cycle sales, or business-development experience
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and advance opportunities
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Business acumen and comfort discussing economic value
  • Evidence of learning agility and coachability
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding defined performance targets

Preferred

  • Healthcare, medtech, enterprise technology, or medical imaging experience
  • Previous full-cycle closing responsibility
  • Experience selling remotely into business or clinical decision makers

Benefits

🔹 What AIRS Offers

  • The chance to help build the commercial organization, not just step into a finished one
  • Real ownership and visibility, with direct access to senior leadership
  • A product with clear clinical and economic value in a large, underpenetrated market
  • A high-performance environment that rewards judgment, curiosity, accountability, and results
  • Exposure to complex customer problems and some of the largest health systems and imaging organizations in the country
  • Meaningful opportunity to grow as the company scales
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and equity

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
