The Role
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Commercial Account Executive to drive revenue growth within a territory of companies with 1,000 - 8,000 employees. This role is responsible for selling through channel partners, directly to end users, and via Marketplaces like Azure and others - leveraging all routes to market. The ideal candidate understands the channel community, has strong existing relationships, and has a proven track record of success in field sales.

Comp Plan: Uncapped earnings
Reporting to: Sr. Director, Commercial Sales (Americas)

Why This Role
• You’ll have the chance to own a key growth territory with support from a world-class team
• Your impact will be visible at the highest levels of the company
• We’re a rocket ship at a pivotal inflection point, and this is a seat near the front
• This is not just another quota-carrying role. It’s a chance to build your legacy with a company that rewards performance and ambition

How You’ll Spend Your Day

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, in both net-new and expansion accounts
  • Develop a deep understanding of our platform and how it transforms IT and business outcomes
  • Build and execute account and territory plans with precision
  • Work hand-in-hand with Solution Engineers, channel partners, and cloud marketplaces to create velocity and close deals
  • Engage IT and business stakeholders from the first call through final negotiation
  • Run tight sales cycles with real urgency, value-selling discipline, and best-in-class forecasting
  • Help define what “great” looks like for the Commercial segment

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • You’ve got 5–10 years of full-cycle SaaS experience, including selling to IT and business decision-makers
  • You’ve consistently crushed quota (120%+ is the norm) and earned your spot in President’s Club or similar
  • You thrive in hunting environments and know how to create pipeline without waiting on inbound
  • You’ve sold through partners and marketplaces. You know how to run both direct and channel-led plays
  • You can clearly explain business value, not just product features and you’re a storyteller who makes solutions real
  • You’re process-driven, coachable, and obsessed with your craft
  • Must be ready and be excited to get in front of customers in person when it counts
  • Must reside in one of these states: WA, MT, ID, OR, CA, NV, UT, AZ, AK, HI

Bonus Points

  • Experience selling EUC, DEX, VDI, or infrastructure monitoring solutions
  • Familiarity with Citrix, VMware, IGEL, or ControlUp
  • MEDDPICC trained or certified

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
