As a Training Coordinator in our Long Beach office, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our caregiver team. In addition to managing internal training efforts, you will also represent Cambrian Homecare LLC in the community by building relationships with referral sources and workforce development agencies. This dual role is essential in ensuring our caregivers are well-prepared and that Cambrian maintains strong ties with our community partners.

Tuesday - Saturday 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities

Training & Development

  • Coordinate and deliver orientation and ongoing training sessions for new and existing care providers
  • Ensure orientation documents are complete and accurate according to company and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate and report training compliance for care providers
  • Ensure new care provider skill competency – both in-home and skills lab setting
  • Participate in training initiatives to ensure best possible results
  • Document all training and development activities and communication per company guidelines
  • Provide in home provider skills training as requested
  • Collaborate with the quality department to identify training and/or quality opportunities for newly hired caregivers

Community Collaboration

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, workforce development agencies and referral sources
  • Attend community and referral source meetings as assigned
  • Assist to identify training needs learned through caregiver and community interactions
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver engaging and effective training sessions
  • Ability to bend and lift 50lbs
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Experience working with the Developmentally Disabled or senior population a plus
  • Experience in home care or healthcare training a plus

Requirements 

  • 18+ years old
  • US work authorization
  • Ability to pass a background check and reference check
