True Classic is hiring a Talent Acquisition & People Operations Specialist to take ownership of recruiting, onboarding, employee experience, people operations, and workplace support for our growing organization. This role will lead full-cycle talent acquisition and day-to-day people operations, ensuring an exceptional employee experience from candidate outreach through onboarding, development, and ongoing engagement.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, people-oriented, proactive, and operationally minded and can build scalable processes, drive execution, and foster a high-performance culture in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

All of True Classic’s roles are global and omni-channel, leading designated areas of accountability across all product categories, countries, and sales and marketing channels. This role will have impact across DTC, retail, wholesale, marketplaces, and emerging channels, ensuring strategic alignment and executional rigor across the enterprise.

Areas of Accountability

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
  • Own full-cycle recruiting across all functions including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing.

  • Build proactive talent pipelines with a bias toward high-performing, AI-fluent candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and AI-native sourcing tools.

  • Partner with hiring managers on intake meetings, success profiles, and structured interview scorecards.

  • Run BrightHire-powered structured interviews with consistent rubric scoring.

  • Coordinate take-home assessments, work samples, in-person interview scheduling, and hiring team feedback.

Onboarding
  • Own the end-to-end experience from offer acceptance through 90 days.

  • Coordinate Day 1 readiness, including laptop set up, accounts created, desk stocked, and systems accessible.

  • Run structured onboarding curriculum covering company operating principles, performance frameworks, and AI-first expectations.

  • Pair new hires with buddies and run 30/60/90-day check ins.

IT & Equipment Support
  • First-line IT support - password resets, peripheral troubleshooting, routine reimaging and device swaps.

  • Maintain laptop and equipment inventory, refresh cycles, and track equipment requests.

  • Coordinate with IT vendor on provisioning, security configs, and Day 1 device readiness.

Training & Development
  • Administer internal AI training programs and track daily learning participation.

  • Coordinate role specific training and external course reimbursements.

  • Support manager training on feedback culture and goal-tracking tools.

  • Maintain the Notion learning library and keep resources current.

  • Track individual development plans and support semi-annual review cycles.

In-Office Culture
  • Be the daily heartbeat of the Calabasas office, set the tone and energy.

  • Plan team lunches, milestone celebrations, all-hands logistics, and seasonal events.

  • Champion in-person collaboration norms.

  • Spot retention risks and morale dips early and flag them proactively.

HR Operations
  • Maintain employee records, org charts, and HRIS data.

  • Support California employment law compliance.

  • Run offboarding processes and exit interviews.

Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to define talent needs, align on hiring criteria, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience from sourcing through offer acceptance.

  • Work closely with IT and Office Managers to ensure seamless onboarding, including workspace setup, equipment provisioning, account creation, system access, and Day 1 readiness.

  • Collaborate with the Director of People & Talent Acquisition to support onboarding, employee development programs, performance review cycles, employee engagement initiatives, and HR operations.

  • Partner with Leadership and the Director of People & Talent Acquisition to support workforce planning, recruiting strategy, culture-building initiatives, and employee experience programs.

  • Coordinate with universities, staffing agencies, recruiting partners, and external vendors to support hiring events, talent pipeline development, sourcing initiatives, and employer branding efforts.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting operations, human resources, people operations, or a related field.

  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting, onboarding programs, and employee lifecycle processes.

  • Strong organizational, communication, project management, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems proactively, and execute with a high level of ownership and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, build scalable processes, and support a high-growth organization.

  • Experience using AI tools and technology platforms to improve recruiting, onboarding, and operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in high growth consumer, ecommerce, retail, or startup environments.

  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, BrightHire, and AI-enabled recruiting tools.

  • Experience supporting workplace operations, employee engagement initiatives, and office management functions.

  • Passion for building high-performance cultures and creating exceptional employee experiences.

Workplace Arrangement

This role is on-site (5x per week in office) based in Calabasas, CA.
