Who You Are

Strategic leader and self-starter who has a deep understanding of the business category (preferably entertainment) and how to drive meaningful business outcomes (beyond standard media metrics).  Thought leader who goes under the hood of data partners/platforms and develops use cases and efficacy.  Strong team leader, who manages and mentors highly functional teams.

What You'll Do

New Business: 15%

  • Participation in relevant pitches
  • Represent audience strategy and agency capabilities across data solutions and advertising technology
  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts as companies look to evolve marketing techniques using data and technology

Capabilities Development: 45%

  • Define and develop structure of a data solutions service & activation team.  This includes role definition and articulating integration points and process with existing Activation, Analytics, AdOps teams.
  • Define preferred, full and complementary tech stack offering for the entertainment accounts on the West Coast
  • Audience planning & activation: explore new data strategies to push agency capabilities to maximize performance for entertainment clients as well as explore third-party partnerships to expand coverage across the client’s business lines.
  • Build measurement methodology with Analytics practice to ensure accurate performance of the audience strategies
  • Collaborate with linear/addressable TV, OOH, and Digital leads on data activation and audience segmentation process
  • Oversee development and maintenance of proprietary business and media dashboards for clients, business stakeholders, and activation teams where needed.

Media Activation: 20%

  • Oversee Programmatic activation across the Entertainment portfolio on the West Coast
  • Budget development and forecasting
  • Collaboration techniques and tools for the execution of cross-channel marketing inclusive of owned channels

Thought Leadership: 20%

  • Attend CMO conversations for existing clients around data & advertising technology
  • Provide consultation to internal brand teams across accounts
  • Output POVs of industry trends and research

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Experience with data strategy, partnerships and application to relevant business category. 
  • Programmatic strategy and buying expertise, specifically The Trade Desk and DV360. 
  • Strong presentation skills. 
  • Managed and trained highly functional teams.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working on entertainment accounts and/or fast-paced performance-based business categories.

Salary Range

$250,000.00 - $500,000.00
