Position Summary: We are looking for a Sr. Sales Manager to support our Ethnic Channel. This role is perfect for someone who understands the dynamics of ethnic grocery markets, knows how to build strong customer relationships, and can ensure flawless execution from order to shelf.

You’ll manage orders, oversee forecasting, coordinate promotions, travel to stores for merchandising audits, and work closely with brokers, wholesalers, and retail partners to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Forecasting

  •  Manage the full order process from placement to delivery.

  • Lead forecasting and sales analysis to support inventory planning and promotional integration.

Customer & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, brokers, and wholesalers.

  • Proactively communicate with customers about delivery schedules and product availability.

Retail Execution

  • Visit retail locations to review merchandising, displays, and stock levels.

  • Recommend and follow through on improvements to maximize in-store presence.

Promotions & Market Support

  • Incorporate promotions into sales activities and align execution with customer needs.

  • Support product launches and category reviews to capture incremental sales opportunities.

Financial Coordination

  • Track and collect payments, manage credits, and process detention fee claims.

Market Insights & Reporting

  • Deliver timely reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity.

  • Provide actionable feedback to internal teams for strategy adjustments.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience in CPG, food service, or ethnic retail.

  • Strong understanding of ethnic grocery market dynamics and distributor/wholesaler relationships.

  • Proficiency with Excel, CRM tools, APS entry, and order management systems.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

  • Bilingual in Korean & English is mandatory.


The base salary for this position is between $90,000.00 and $115,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
