The Northrop Grumman Chief Information and Digital Office (CIDO) team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its dynamic team of professionals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems support team and can work out of El Segundo, CA.
Note: This role supports hybrid work arrangement; however, due to the classified nature of the work, a regular on-site presence is required. While some work-from-home opportunities may be available, employees are expected to commute to the office as business needs dictate.
This role is pivotal in advancing our digital transformation initiatives by leveraging the Atlassian suite to enhance our processes and project execution. If you are passionate about digital tools, process improvement, and training, this position is for you. Roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Be a Super User for Sector Atlassian Suite:
Oversee and manage best practices and adoption of the Atlassian suite across the sector, ensuring optimal usage and efficiency.
Advocate for new programs utilizing Atlassian tools. Conduct roadshows and provide training, with occasional travel required.
Drive Convergence and Standardization:
Collaborate to develop a tool suite within Atlassian or other platforms to objectively track digital maturity progress.
Align sector tools usage and work towards standardizing reviews for sector leadership.
Define Best Practices and Training:
Develop and document best practices via a training site. Implement a “train the trainer” approach to disseminate knowledge effectively.
Digital Tools Organization and Baseline of Requirements:
Coordinate the AS CIDO team to effectively use digital tools for project execution.
Assist in defining and tracking digital maturity for tools, processes, and training initiatives.
Execute Value Tracking:
Implement and manage value tracking mechanisms to ensure measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
Additional responsibilities:
Travel occasionally for program implementation and training.
Basic Qualifications:
Master's Degree with 6 years of relevent experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of relevent experience
Candidates must have a current US Government Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered
Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
Project management experience to include strong organization, communication, and training.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field
Active DOD Top Secret, SCI, or SAP/SAR access is preferred
Experience in digital transformation initiatives and value tracking
Demonstrated administrative experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
Familiarity with developing and managing training programs.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
