Position Summary

Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance to support the YouTube and Social Platforms organization with high-quality FP&A, business performance analytics and decision support. Reporting into the finance leadership supporting the business, this role will be responsible for the analytical foundation of the team—building financial models and forecasts, preparing monthly reporting and KPI dashboards, analyzing revenue and channel performance, coordinating planning cycles and delivering actionable insights across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain financial models, forecasts and planning schedules for SPE's YouTube and Social Platforms business.
  • Prepare monthly reporting, KPI dashboards, variance analyses and management materials that clearly explain business performance and key drivers.
  • Support revenue forecasting and monetization analytics across channels, content, advertising, licensing and other digital revenue streams.
  • Analyze channel performance, content ROI, engagement trends, operating expenses and other key business metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Perform scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic and operating decisions.
  • Coordinate annual budget, forecast and long-range planning cycles, including consolidating inputs from business teams and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Partner with Analytics and business teams to improve data quality, KPI definitions, dashboards and performance measurement.
  • Support business cases for new channels, content investments, platform initiatives, partnerships and emerging monetization opportunities.
  • Track financial performance against approved investments and provide post-investment analysis to improve future resource allocation.
  • Support executive presentations and business reviews by translating detailed financial and operating data into clear, concise insights.
  • Partner with Corporate FP&A, Accounting and other LOB functions to ensure accurate reporting, consistent assumptions and effective financial processes.
  • Help improve planning tools, reporting processes and financial systems as the YouTube and Social Platforms business scales.
  • Drive the adoption of AI, automation, and advanced analytics to enhance business insights, improve forecasting and decision-making, and increase organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 7+ years of progressive FP&A, finance or business analytics experience; experience in media, streaming, technology, or digital platforms strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis and business analytics skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with dashboarding tools such as SAC, Power BI or Tableau and enterprise financial systems is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to synthesize large and complex datasets into clear business insights and recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to understand the broader strategic and commercial context.
  • Excellent communication, organization and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across a highly matrixed global organization.
  • Excellent organization skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, evolving digital business where priorities and performance drivers can change quickly.

  • Strong follow-through on all projects; ability to bring projects to timely completion with proven track record of meeting deadlines, and taking initiative to make confident and well-informed decisions
  • Experience utilizing artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics tools to drive innovation, enhance efficiency, and support data-driven decision making.

The Senior Manager will be the analytical engine of the finance team—providing reliable forecasts, transparent performance reporting and decision-ready insights that help leadership optimize monetization, investment and operating performance across SPE's YouTube and Social Platforms portfolio.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $130,000-$160,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
