THE ROLE
The Sr.Manager, Development will manage the development slate for scripted and unscripted TV and film projects. This position will also build and maintain working relationships with music industry professionals to foster new and ongoing creative connections with artists to develop new projects.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Evaluate and track all incoming creative materials—pitches, treatments, scripts, books, and more—with a strong editorial and creative eye.
  • Source, recommend, and build relationships with top-tier writers, directors, producers, and on-screen talent.
  • Develop compelling pitch decks and creative presentations that bring ideas to life for internal stakeholders, studios, and streaming partners.
  • Oversee the submission pipeline and internal ideation process, ensuring seamless workflow and consistent progress on all active projects.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Film, Entertainment, Business, Music, Marketing or related subject
  • 4+ years' relevant experience in film and/or television industry; previous experience working in the intersection of music x film x television preferred
  •  Previous experience from streaming channel nice to have
  • Experience working with producers, talent agents and directors
  • Self-starter who can manage and successfully complete projects with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to work independently and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment;
  • Team player with flexibility to accommodate different personalities and work styles;
  • Strong organizational skills, work ethic, initiative, sense of urgency and attention to detail.

The expected compensation for this position is:

$88,000.00 USD - $110,000.00 USD

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
