About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Business Development Manager, Product Partnerships to lead our product partnership initiatives. This role is critical to managing and expanding product partnerships, developing efficient processes to support complex commercial terms, and ensuring our product partnership initiatives are tightly aligned with product and go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS partnerships and a track record of driving impactful integrations that enhance product value and revenue growth.

What You'll Do

Strategic Partnership Development

  • Manage and prioritize a growing pipeline of potential partnerships.
  • Negotiate and structure detailed commercial terms to drive mutual success.
  • Lead the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including integration development, go-to-market, and ongoing optimization.

Process and Operational Management

  • Design and refine scalable processes for managing product partnerships effectively.
  • Own reporting and revenue-sharing audits, collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, marketing, and enablement teams to align partnerships with our SaaS product strategy.
  • Ensure internal teams understand and can effectively communicate the value of our integrations to customers.

Performance Monitoring and Market Insights

  • Establish and track success metrics for partnerships, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities and improve existing partnerships.

Product-Market Fit and Marketing Alignment

  • Leverage a deep understanding of product-market fit and product marketing principles to shape partnership strategies.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure integrations support customer needs and align with broader SaaS objectives.

Adaptability and Leadership

  • Move seamlessly between disciplines, engaging with teams across product, marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Thrive in an environment with shifting priorities and varying degrees of ambiguity, finding creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Wear multiple hats as needed, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

  • 6+ years in business development, partnerships, or a related role within a SaaS company.
  • Proven success in managing SaaS partnerships with complex commercial terms and delivering measurable results.
  • Experience in construction technology and first-hand knowledge of the building trades.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong grasp of product-market fit and product marketing principles in a SaaS context.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and reporting tools.

Attributes

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially in contracts and revenue tracking.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
