We are seeking a passionate and organized Sports Coordinator to help coach, lead and oversee multiple programs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both youth and adults, thrives in a team environment, and is committed to creating a positive, well-structured sports experience for all participants at Shepherd Sports.

  • Is an energetic leader who can confidently coach, organize, and communicate across a wide range of programs
  • Equally comfortable leading on the field or court and managing logistics behind the scenes
  • This person values teamwork, maintains strong relationships with staff and volunteers, and demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism
  • A heart for mentorship and the ability to lead group devotionals
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule that involves evenings and weekend hours on a regular basis
  • Is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding program standards while fostering a fun, safe, and encouraging environment

 Position Details

  • Non-exempt, full-time role
  • Flexible schedule required (weekdays, evenings, weekends, etc.)
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide coaches, volunteers, and participants
  • Experience working in an office or church ministry environment is a plus.
  • Strong computer and organizational skills including managing schedules, rosters, stats, and standings
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
