Labcorp Employer Services (LES) is seeking a remote Specialty Development (Sales) Executive, to join our team supporting our West Division (CA, OR, WA, ID), United States!

Work Schedule:

  • This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a first shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST or MST.
  • Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.
  • Travel: Overnight travel to client visits, sales meetings, and trade shows is required, up to 25%.

Job Responsibilities

  • Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas through aggressive new business acquisition and strategic account development.
  • Drive growth within the LES portfolio, including workplace drug testing, clinical testing, screening, and prevention services.
  • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through proactive prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Identify decision-makers, uncover customer needs, and create compelling business cases that lead to new client partnerships.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Deliver persuasive customer presentations that clearly communicate value, differentiate solutions, and overcome objections.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, opportunity management, and sales forecasting within Salesforce.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer buying behaviors to uncover new revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning to maximize territory performance and accelerate growth.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and professional meetings to drive lead generation and brand awareness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of successful outside sales experience with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • 2+ years of successful new business development experience, with demonstrated success identifying opportunities, generating leads, and closing new customer relationships.
  • 1+ years of experience managing a high-volume sales pipeline and opportunity portfolio within a CRM system.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying outside sales experience.
  • Labcorp Employer Services or Divisional Sales experience, such as SME, SDE.
  • 2+ years of quota-carrying sales experience with a proven record of generating new business, opening new accounts, and driving territory growth.
  • 1+ years of experience independently negotiating and closing contracts with key decision-makers.
  • 1+ years of consultative sales experience selling complex solutions with multi-step sales cycles.
  • 1+ years of Salesforce experience managing a high-volume pipeline and maintaining forecast accuracy.

About the Role

Labcorp Employer Services (LES) is seeking a driven, results-oriented Specialty Development (Sales) Executive to lead new business development efforts across our Workplace Drug Testing, Clinical Testing, and Screening & Prevention solutions. This is a highly visible, quota-carrying sales role responsible for prospecting, building pipeline, and closing new business within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate thrives in a competitive environment, enjoys opening new doors and creating opportunities, and has a passion for exceeding sales targets. Working collaboratively with divisional sales and account management teams, you will leverage a consultative sales approach to win new clients, expand market share, and drive revenue growth for the organization.

Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. 

The position is also eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan.  Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan. 

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
