Overview
As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between the technical and sales teams. You’ll work closely with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Prospective Clients to demonstrate how Kixie’s solutions can address business needs. You’ll guide prospects through technical evaluations, assist in deployments, and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Sales team to deliver engaging product demos and technical presentations.
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions using Kixie’s platform.
- Assist with onboarding new customers, ensuring smooth integration with CRM platforms and communication tools.
- Serve as the technical point of contact during the sales and onboarding process.
- Identify customer needs, build solutions, and create proof-of-concepts when necessary.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to advocate for customer needs and influence product improvements.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and other technical documentation requests.
- Create internal and customer-facing documentation to support technical sales and onboarding processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Support role (SaaS experience preferred).
- Solid understanding of APIs, webhooks, CRM integrations, and cloud communication technologies.
- Familiarity with tools like Zapier, Make, or similar integration platforms.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in a high-growth startup environment.
- Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc. is a plus
- Background in VoIP, telephony, or communications platforms is a plus
