What are important things that YOU need to know about this role? 

  • Experience: The ideal candidate will have 1 - 2 years of manual testing experience and a strong foundation in SQL.
  • Work Location: This position offers permanent remote work. However, preference will be given to candidates who are local and able to work onsite at our Mequon office at least two days per week.

What will YOU be doing for us?   Develop quality assurance processes and procedures that will ensure that design requirements are satisfied, the solution operates as expected, and the needs of stakeholders are met. 

What will YOU be working on every day? 

  • Develop quality assurance plans designed to test programs per corporate and client requirements.
  • Test new or modified software programs using exploratory testing techniques.
  • Interpret test results utilizing a variety of methods for issue resolution.     
  • Communicate test findings and feedback to team and stakeholders.
  • Participate in quality assurance testing strategy including creating, documenting, and maintaining tests.
  • Gather data on customer satisfaction and trends relating to product use to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance procedures.
  • Participate with Software Development team to advocate quality at all stages of software development life cycle.  
  • Understand and communicate broader impact of changes on all areas of application related to area of expertise.
  • Ensure security of protected information throughout the software development cycle.

What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GOOD candidate?

  • Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or other related field or equivalent years of experience.
  • Required Level of Experience
    • 0-3 years of experience in a business setting engaging in analytic and/or quality assurance work.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 
    • Knowledge of software used to collect, manipulate, manage and analyze data.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Ability to solve complex technical problems.
    • Ability to forecast potential client issues or concerns.
    • Ability to think of creative solutions to systems based issues.
    • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Skill with Microsoft Office products.

    • Knowledge and proficiency in the following technical areas:
  •    Proficiency with SQL

The salary range and midpoint is listed below for your reference. Please keep in mind that your education and experience along with your knowledge, skills and abilities are taken into consideration when determining placement within the range.

Compensation Range: $59,913 - $89,870

Compensation Midpoint: $74,892
