Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:
 

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Formulate, implement, and evaluate algorithms for platform and application features in Python, Java, JavaScript & React. Work closely with Quality Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Operations to develop, test, and deploy highly useful, high quality software. Analyze, design and develop test cases and implement automated test suites. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation that improves salesforce.com. Enhance skills in related areas such as database, multi-threaded development, and code efficiency through the design and delivery of code. Work closely with senior developers to ensure that features are delivered to meet business and quality requirements. *HQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering).
 

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Python; (3) Shell Script; (4) React; (5) HTML; (6) CSS; (7) MySQL; (8) PostgreSQL; (9) Kubernetes; and (10) Git. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
 

Salary: $180,960.00 - $236,500.00 per annum.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $180,960 to $236,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
