Salesforce Inc.  seeks Software Engineering SMTS – Identity and Access Management in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Develop and oversee the implementation of information security procedures and policies. Build, maintain and upgrade security technology, such as firewalls, for the safe use of computer networks and the transmission and retrieval of information. Design and implement appropriate security controls to identify vulnerabilities and protect digital files and electronic infrastructures. Work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, user experience experts and performance engineers to build new features our customers will love, adopt, and use while keeping our trusted platform stable and scalable. Build mission-critical, highly customized internal tools to be the most productive and secure engineering team in the industry. Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products. Analyze, design and develop test cases and implement automated test suites. Master our development process, culture and code base, then improve it. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation that improves Salesforce.com. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Qualys; (2) CrowdStrike Falcon Prevent AV; (3) Carbon Black Endpoint Protection; (4) AWS Guard Duty; (5) Wireshark; (6) Darktrace; (7) Imperva WAF. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Salary: $206,315.00 - $236,500.00 per annum.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $206,315 to $236,500.For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $206,315 to $236,500.For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $206,315 to $236,500.For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $206,315 to $236,500.

For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $206,315 to $236,500.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $206,315 to $236,500.For Hawaii-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $206,315 to $236,500.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $206,315 to $236,500.For Minnesota based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $206,315 to $236,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
