Job Description

We're looking for a Social Media Manager to join Procore's Marketing team. In this role, you'll be a key player in our top-of-funnel awareness and corporate engagement across our most critical channels: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube.

As a Social Media Manager, you'll partner with the Marketing team and key stakeholders to manage hands-on social media execution, data-driven analysis, and content creation. Use your skills in social media management, social-first video production, and data analytics to enhance brand visibility, drive industry conversations within the construction and AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) community, and translate social performance into measurable business impact. This is an exciting, high-impact role blending hands-on execution with strategic analysis and a chance to build new efficiencies using AI.

This position reports into the Senior Manager, Global Brand Social and can be based remotely from a US location or in our Carpinteria, CA, Tampa, FL or Austin, TX offices. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position, compensated on an hourly basis. We’re looking for candidates to join our team immediately!

What you'll do:

  • Execute the daily scheduling, publishing, and comment strategy for all organic content on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube using Sprout Social.

  • Maintain the @ProcoreTech social media content calendar, coordinating with broader marketing campaigns, product launches, and company announcements.

  • Monitor industry conversations and social trends within the construction and AEC community to inform content strategy and engagement.

  • Craft compelling, audience-insider social media copy for all posts, aligning with Procore's brand voice and B2B messaging.

  • Produce social-first video content, including ideation, self-filming, conducting on-camera stakeholder interviews, and editing.

  • Create supporting visual content such as carousels, video cover images, and other necessary assets using tools like Canva.

  • Analyze social media KPIs, producing comprehensive weekly performance reports that translate raw data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Utilize generative AI to create new efficiencies and optimize social media processes and workflows.

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience managing social media strategy and execution for a business, preferably in an architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), B2B, or SaaS environment.

  • A "chronically online" aptitude for what’s trending, with a constant pulse on digital trends, platform changes, and competitor activity.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge and curiosity for utilizing generative AI models (e.g., Gemini) for marketing applications and workflow optimization.

  • Demonstrated expertise in social-first content creation, including iPhone filming, editing (CapCut/Premiere Pro), and graphic design (Canva/Photoshop).

  • Proven analytical skillset with a track record of using data to drive decisions; strong proficiency in social media management platforms like Sprout Social.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public-facing confidence for occasional on-camera roles and clear stakeholder management.

  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Slack for internal collaboration.

  • Prior experience working within or extensively marketing to the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry preferred

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
