The Technical Sourcer plays a vital role in our recruitment efforts, directly influencing Hermeus' ability to attract and hire top-tier talent. As a key member of our recruiting team, you’ll help shape the company’s talent strategy during a period of rapid growth. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with recruiters and engineering leaders to define and meet hiring needs. You’ll have the autonomy, tools, and support to execute our strategy and help build a world-class team at Hermeus.
 
We’re seeking a Technical Sourcer who can own the entire sourcing process and is excited to make a meaningful impact within a small, fast-moving team.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques and tools used for information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, continuous process improvement, process automation, and candidate management
  • Conduct interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview-to-offer ratios
  • Engage passive candidates using ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, referral and campaigns
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint
  • Build talent maps to generate market insights to inform your engagement strategy
  • Represent the company's brand and recruiting team internally and externally
  • Leverage internal resources to build strategy around selling our value proposition

Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of experience sourcing top-tier talent for technical roles
  • 2+ years of experience interacting with internal stakeholders, including collaborating with Hiring Managers and Directors to gather requirements, review candidate profiles, and provide regular updates on pipeline progress
  • Well-connected within the new space hardware engineering talent communities
  • Proven ability to take a consultative approach, delivering improved hiring outcomes, enhancing candidate experience, and earning the trust of peers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong grasp of the technical skills and qualifications required for engineering roles across the business
  • Skilled in communicating clearly with candidates to understand their motivations, career goals, and organizational fit
  • Experienced in managing multiple candidate pipelines and tracking their progress throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision

The salary range listed for this role is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including role scope and responsibilities, relevant experience, education and training, key skills, market data, and business needs.
