The Senior Social Media Manager & Content Producer will create, manage, and optimize engaging content, analyze performance, and oversee community management.
Defining the role
As the Senior Social Media Manager & Content Producer at Gantri, you will be a crucial player in our social media and content creation team, responsible for managing, creating, and optimizing social media content that resonates with audiences across major platforms. This role requires a blend of strategy, creativity, and technical skill to produce engaging, high-quality short-form content that amplifies that amplifies the Gantri brand. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of social media algorithms and trends, and a proven ability to create impactful content that maximizes reach and engagement.
Based in San Francisco, this is a full-time, hybrid role with the marketing team. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing our social media community and our product seeding program.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement social media strategies tailored Gantri’s goals. Create, manage, and post short-form content for platforms including IG & YT Shorts.
- Content Creation & Production: Lead the creation, editing, and posting of high-quality content, ensuring alignment with the Gantri story and platform-specific best practices. Execute hands-on filming, photography, and editing to produce visually engaging content.
- Trend Analysis & Ideation: Monitor social media trends and platform updates, ensuring Gantri content remains timely and relevant. Propose and develop fresh content ideas that drive engagement and strengthen the brand presence.
- Community Management: Manage community interactions by monitoring and responding to comments and messages in real time, fostering a positive and interactive brand presence.
- Product Seeding Program: Manage outreach to content creators and collection of usage rights for UGC.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track and analyze content performance, creating regular reports to inform strategy adjustments.
Key Abilities
- Social Media Expertise: Deep familiarity with major platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat, including knowledge of content formats, algorithm updates, and growth strategies.
- Content Creation Proficiency: Advanced filming, editing, and production skills using tools such as cameras, mobile devices, and editing software, along with proficiency in platform-specific editing tools.
- Creative Problem-Solving: A resourceful, inventive mindset with the ability to generate ideas & stories that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement.
- Data Literacy & Strategic Adjustment: Ability to interpret social media metrics and use insights to refine content strategies for optimized client outcomes.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience (7+ years) creating content for consumer brands across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- A track record of growing a social media presence and tying it to organic social revenue increases.
- Proven experience working and developing content in conjunction with creators and creative teams
- Proficiency in video editing software and in platform specific editing tools is a strong preference
- Experience with social media community management
- Experience with managing a product gifting program.
