We’re seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Salesforce Product Owner for Wealth Management to lead the evolution of our Salesforce-based wealth platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of financial planning workflows, and knows how to translate business needs into technical execution. The Product Owner is primarily responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team by ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. This role serves as the primary customer advocate and liaison between internal stakeholders and development teams connecting business and technology strategy while advancing the maturity of the Business Solutions Product Management (BSPM) team.
The Senior Salesforce Product Owner for Wealth Management will report to the Salesforce Product Manager.
You’ll work closely with:
Wealth Management stakeholders to understand advisor pain points, gather feedback, and align product direction with business goals.
Our Salesforce development team to define and deliver features that enhance advisor workflows, client engagement, and operational efficiency.
Cross-functional teams across compliance, finance, operations, marketing, and technology to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.
Success in this role hinges on your ability to:
Lead requirements gathering through advisor interviews, process analysis, and data insights.
Manage demanding stakeholders with empathy and clarity, balancing competing priorities while maintaining strategic focus.
Drive roadmap planning and backlog prioritization using KPIs, user feedback, and business impact.
Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, setting clear expectations and providing transparency throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Owns product backlog and feature prioritization. Define and prioritize user stories, manage the product backlog, and lead agile ceremonies as needed. Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.
Assist with communicating the vision and roadmap during PI Planning to ensure teams are aligned and ready to execute against them. Communicate product vision, progress, and risks to stakeholders at all levels.
Conduct discovery through advisor interviews, data analysis, and process mapping to identify opportunities for improvement. Assist in meeting coordination, notes, documentation, followups, summaries, and action items to provide clear ownership and accountability.
Collaborate as needed with development, finance, compliance, operations, and advisor teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Enforce data integrity and platform security standards. Monitor product performance and usage metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization. Define CRM product needs and ensures delivery of value. Develop and track KPIs for platform adoption, advisor engagement, and client outcomes.
Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that customer needs and feedback are incorporated into the product development process. Ability to balance different stakeholder perspectives by understanding the needs that drive them, remaining customer-centric, considering capacity allocations, evaluating the cost of delay, and collaborating with stakeholders and teams to make implementation decisions that produce the most favorable outcomes.
Prepare mockups and document product standards, both internal for the team as well as stakeholders; work with the Salesforce Product Manager; Operations teams and the business stakeholders on training materials, release notes, and related communications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product management or product ownership in financial services or wealth management.
Strong experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud; experience with Experience Cloud is a plus.
Extremely driven, passion for process and efficiency • Proven ability to manage demanding stakeholders and balance competing priorities.
Skilled in requirements gathering, process analysis, and translating insights into actionable product features.
Ability to manage work on multiple projects with competing priorities while maintaining highest level of service standard and meeting target dates.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; ability to tailor communication to different audiences, such as management, stakeholders, users, SMEs, developers, and others.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies; certifications like CSPO, POPM, or SAFe is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration
Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle • Knowledge of Salesforce, ADO, and Agile methodology
Ability to work with clients and partners at a strategic level

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $100,000 to $110,000 per year.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs.
