Required Qualifications
Credentials & Experience
- CPA
- Minimum 10 years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience in a public company or supporting public company clients.
- Demonstrated experience owning or supporting 10-K and/or 10-Q filings end to end.
Technical Accounting Knowledge
- Deep command of U.S. GAAP, with hands-on expertise in: ASC 718 (Stock-Based Compensation), ASC 230 (Cash Flows), ASC 350/360 (Intangibles & Goodwill).
- Working knowledge of SEC rules (Regulation S-X and S-K) and PCAOB standards.
Systems
- Workiva: experience managing SEC filing workflows, tie-outs, and XBRL/iXBRL tagging required.
- NetSuite: proficient in ledger review, journal entry management, and report extraction required.
- Equity reporting tools (e.g., Carta, E*TRADE Equity Edge, Morgan Stanley, or similar) for SBC reconciliation preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills.
