While the role supports a national segment, East Coast location is important to enable easy access to key industry events and in-person engagements that frequently occur in the region. You’ll partner with sales, product, and marketing teams to create and execute strategic field campaigns that generate pipeline and deepen customer relationships.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of in-person and virtual events, such as trade shows, conferences, regional webinars, and customer meetups.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with regional sales teams to understand market needs and ensure alignment on messaging, target accounts, and campaign execution.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure the success of field marketing programs and adjust tactics to maximize results.
  • Collaborate with the demand generation team to create targeted lead-generation programs, content, and campaigns that drive qualified leads to sales.
  • Manage marketing budgets and resources for field activities and ensure programs are delivered within budget and timeline.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by gathering insights, identifying trends, and ensuring marketing strategies reflect customer pain points and priorities.
  • Coordinate with creative, content, and digital marketing teams to develop region-specific messaging and collateral.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, such as lead conversion rates, event attendance, and ROI on field marketing investments.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging marketing technologies to ensure the company remains ahead of the curve.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in field marketing, demand generation, or event management.
  • Proven track record of planning, executing, and optimizing successful field marketing programs that drive business growth.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales and marketing processes, lead generation, and demand funnel.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze campaign performance and make data-backed recommendations.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% as needed for events and regional support.
  • Be physically located on the East Coast

The base compensation range, not including bonus, for this role is: $120,000 - $160,000

Benefits:

Our benefits include options for up to 100% paid Medical and Vision premiums for employees, a flexible PTO policy, no internal meetings Fridays, as well as access to Modern Health and other mental wellness resources. Additionally, we offer eight paid holidays and two additional week-long breaks when all Demandbase employees in the US take time off simultaneously (the week of July 4th and the week of Thanksgiving). We also provide 401(k), short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, and other great benefits.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
