About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Identity and Integrations Products team within Security Products. This team builds and operates foundational capabilities for integrations connecting CoreWeave to the breadth of customer security infrastructure, enterprise identity providers and directory services, cloud-native and on-prem key/secrets management (KMS, HSM), and third-party security platforms such as Wiz, CrowdStrike, and SIEM systems.

The role combines people leadership with strong technical judgment: you will guide architecture and engineering decisions, create clarity in complex problem spaces, and ensure that our services meet the availability, security, interoperability, and operational standards expected of a critical cloud platform. You will work closely with product, security, infrastructure, platform, and customer-facing engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has led teams building distributed systems and security-sensitive services and is energized by solving hard problems at the intersection of identity, platform infrastructure, and customer trust.

What you will do
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Identity and Integrations Products engineering team, including hiring, career development, performance management, and team health.
  • Set the team’s technical vision, roadmap, priorities, and execution strategy in partnership with Product Managers and Security Products leadership.
  • Own service reliability and operational excellence, including availability, latency, incident response, change management, capacity planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish engineering practices for secure development, architecture reviews, operational readiness, and sustainable delivery.
  • Drive effective cross-functional collaboration across security, infrastructure, networking, developer platform, cloud operations, product, and customer engineering teams.
  • Partner with Product Managers, customer-facing engineering teams and customers to understand integration requirements, guide technical discovery, plan rollouts, and resolve complex integration issues.
  • Communicate technical decisions, tradeoffs, risks, and progress clearly to engineering, product, security, and executive stakeholders.
What you bring
  • 5+ years of experience managing a complex function or multiple related teams led by manager / tech-leads, including responsibility for strategy, execution, staffing, and engineering quality.
  • Experience running engineering operations (observability, SLOs, incident management, post-incident review, capacity planning, release safety) for high-scale services with 99.95%+ availability, 10K RPS or greater.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound technical decisions in ambiguous environments and translate long-term strategy into pragmatic execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries and work with external customers or partners.
  • A track record of delivering through ambiguity and aligning Product, Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Sunnyvale, California. This role is not remote.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience building security products or platforms for enterprise, regulated, or security-sensitive customers.
  • Experience with identity, key management, encryption, secrets management, confidential computing, or security integrations.
  • Experience partnering with external customers, technology partners, or security reviewers on product requirements and assurance.
  • Experience leading greenfield products from early architecture through production adoption.
How you will be successful

In your first year, you will:

  • Build trust with the Identity and Integrations Products team and key partner organizations.
  • Establish a clear technical and execution roadmap aligned with Security Products and CoreWeave priorities.
  • Improve the reliability, observability, and operational maturity of the team’s most critical services.
  • Raise the quality and consistency of architecture, security, and operational reviews.
  • Hire and develop exceptional engineers while creating a healthy, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
