In the role of Senior Data Analyst, you will report to the Manager of Data Analytics.
We are considering applicants for the location of Los Angeles.
The Senior Data Analyst will be an analytics partner within our Flywheel Experience Analytics team. You will build foundational analytics infrastructure by consolidating fragmented data sources, developing longitudinal performance tracking, and creating standardized dashboards and certified reporting processes that enable leadership to make data-driven decisions while eliminating current operational bottlenecks. Working with cross-functional teams, you will provide critical P&L visibility and strategic insights that maximize revenue opportunities across our expanding commerce portfolio.
Core Areas of Responsibility- Analytics Infrastructure Development: Design and implement automated reporting and data pipelines to support business intelligence across stakeholder verticals
- Data Quality Management: Implement data validation processes and establish reporting standards to ensure accuracy and consistency across analytics outputs
- Cross-Business Performance Measurement: Establish metrics and reporting to understand interconnections and synergies between commerce verticals and other business units
- Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
- 8+ years of experience as a data analyst with track record in business intelligence and analytics
- Expert-level SQL for complex data extraction, transformation, and analysis with large datasets
- Expert-level Tableau skills with strong data storytelling abilities, designing user-focused dashboards and creating targeted visualizations for diverse audiences
- Experience using Python for data analysis and transformation using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and re
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Experience performing root cause analysis, identifying data quality issues, and implementing validation processes
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with data analysts, engineers, and non-technical stakeholder teams
This role will be a part of the Center for Data & Insights (CDI), the centralized analytics team that supports the data analytics needs of Crunchyroll. Specifically, you will join the Flywheel Experience Analytics team, which focuses on non-VOD products and serves as a trusted thought partner, providing unbiased analyses to eCommerce, gaming, digital manga, theatrical, and licensing business verticals. The team is responsible for building and maintaining the reporting infrastructure for these non-VOD products, providing deep dive analyses, and quantifying the ways that our product portfolio provides value to our members. You will collaborate closely with other analysts and stakeholder teams to deliver insights that drive decision-making across Crunchyroll's expanding ecosystem.
