Job Purpose:
 

This position is responsible for executing all audience design and list selection activities within an assigned business segment across Unica Campaign and Salesforce Data Cloud.  This role will ensure best practices are established and leveraged in campaign design and delivery for both B2B and B2C marketing campaigns, using systems to the full extent of their capabilities to ensure efficient and effective delivery.  As optimizations or IT developments are implemented, this role adheres to testing methodologies to ensure deliverables are met accurately and effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves as an expert executing marketing campaigns leveraging relational databases and technologies.
  • Responsible for recommending and designing campaigns that maximize system performance while fully utilizing system functionality.
  • Understands the underlying data and all steps within a selection process to ensure accurate execution against business requirements
  • Independently performs all audience selection work assigned by Campaign Design Lead or Manager to a high degree of accuracy while maintaining delivery targets
  • Researches and resolves business and/or data questions in selection process design and results
  • Responds to and solves complex issues and incidents efficiently
  • Conducts peer reviews and provides feedback (QA) on work executed by other Campaign Designers in pre-production and production environments
  • Executes User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on IT enablement and lifecycle management work as needed
  • May lead, plan and coordinate initiatives cross-functionally to ensure campaign results and timelines are met.
  • Uses knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements and influence decisions that may impact cross functional areas.
  • Develops training and process documentation, keeping up-to-date on a routine basis.
  • Mentors and trains Jr and new team members as needed
  • Completes all assigned training and obtains required system certifications within time required.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, computer science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related analytical work experience.
  • 7+ years experience in the direct response industry with an emphasis on data analysis and campaign (audience) development across direct mail, email and digital audiences.
  • Proven experience working with relational databases and demonstrated strong analytical skills.
  • Expertise in the following applications:  MS-SQL, Campaign Management, Salesforce Data Cloud, and Microsoft Excel
  • Unica Campaign Designer or Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant Certified (must begin certification within 12 months of hire)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Workfront preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills and ability to work in a project-oriented, diverse team environment.  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a time sensitive environment.
  • Ability to analyze multiple sources of information to define problems and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to think creatively to achieve desired results.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

 

Base Salary Range:

$69,095.00 - $120,916.00
