The Senior Business Manager will oversee tax leadership, financial management, and client relations, focusing on high-net-worth individuals and providing expert advice on complex tax issues.

The Firm:
We are partnering with a well-established boutique business management firm to find their next Senior Business Manager. The ideal candidate brings deep tax expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to a unique client base that includes entertainers, content creators, athletes, and other high-net-worth individuals!
The firm is headquartered in Los Angeles with an option to be on-site. This role is 100% remote eligible, though candidates must reside in California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Leadership & Advisory
- Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns, including multi-state filings
- Lead tax planning, projections, and year-end strategies for high-net-worth clients
- Research and advise on tax issues related to client transactions and new legislation
- Business Management & Financial Oversight
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and cash flow projections
- Support asset acquisitions, leases, and financing processes, including escrow and lender coordination
- Review insurance coverage and ensure appropriate policies are in place
- Client & Relationship Management
- Serve as a primary advisor to clients alongside firm Partners
- Participate in client meetings and help manage long-term client relationships
- Maintain the highest level of discretion and professionalism
- Support onboarding of new clients and internal process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- CPA required
- 7+ years of tax experience in business management, public accounting, or family office environments
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance and planning for individuals, entities, estates, and trusts
- Familiarity with entertainment, digital talent, or high-net-worth income streams strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and client-facing skills
