Job Description:

  1. Proactively analyze retail, e-commerce platform, and user data to generate insights that drive business growth, platform optimization, and improvements in user experience and engagement. Collaborate actively with business, product, and tech teams using data-based evidence to validate hypotheses and implement data-driven initiatives.
  2. Transform business data needs into data products—turn analytical insights into productized solutions and address requirements through systems and platforms.
  3. Respond promptly to the data requests of various business units, analyze requirements, and develop appropriate reporting and system plans.
  4. Partner with data engineers to build the Data Platform, grounded in a deep understanding of business and user data needs.
  5. Comprehend the data fundamentals and logic behind the platform and promote its application across business teams.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above; major in Statistics or Mathematics is a plus. Minimum 5 years of working experience. Passionate about data analysis, with strong product thinking and project management capabilities. Experience in e-commerce or retail industry preferred.
  2. Experience in using AI tools in daily work is preferred.
  3. Proficient in MySQL and Tableau; experience with Python is a plus.
  4. Strong logical thinking, analytical and problem‑solving skills; proactive, detail‑oriented, and patient.
  5. Excellent communication and coordination skills with a collaborative mindset.
  6. Prior experience in retail or e‑commerce merchandising and data analytics is preferred.
  7. Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese Mandarin
