Develop and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and database integrations. Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, integrate with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and external systems, and implement ALM, security, governance, DLP, and compliance practices. Provide technical documentation, training, audits, and support for emerging capabilities such as Copilot Studio.
This is a remote position.
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
● Application Development & Solution Design
- Design, build, and maintain Power Platform solutions including:
- Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps
- Power Pages
- Power Automate cloud flows and approvals
- on-Prem and Cloud Relation Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and Dataverse data models, business rules, and security roles
- Power BI reports and dashboards
- Translate business and program requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Develop reusable components, patterns, and templates aligned with OTS standards
- Knowledge transfer and train our in-house developers to come up to speed.
● Integration & Architecture
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with:
- Microsoft 365 services
- Dynamics 365 (where applicable)
- Azure services and external systems via connectors and APIs
- Apply best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability
● Governance, Security & Compliance
- Implement role-based security, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and environmental strategies
- Ensure solutions comply with Louisiana OTS standards and applicable federal and state regulations (e.g., security, privacy, accessibility)
- Support audits, documentation, and technical reviews
Innovation & Emerging Capabilities
- Evaluate and pilot new Power Platform features and capabilities
- Copilot Studio experience (plus):
- Assist in designing conversational AI solutions and virtual agents
- Support use cases such as knowledge retrieval, case intake, and internal support automation
Requirements
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
- 5 + years of experience developing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including:
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- on-Prem and Cloud RDBMS, Dataverse
- Power BI
● 5 + years of demonstrated strong understanding of:
- Application lifecycle management (ALM)
- Environment strategy with Deployment and Troubleshooting (Dev/Test/Prod)
- Security and role-based access control
- SQL Queries
- 5 + years of experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical designs.
- Ability to work independently and across multiple projects in a shared-services environment

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
- Experience with Copilot Studio or other conversational AI platforms
- Experience in government, public sector, or regulated environments
- Experience with MS SQL Server
- Familiarity with:
- Dynamics 365
- Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, etc.)
- DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform Developer, Solution Architect)
