GHJ Search & Staffing is working with a fast-growing, consumer-focused company headquartered in Los Angeles who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its collaborative and high-performing finance team. What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Own key components of the month-end and year-end close process
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Perform flux and variance analysis across P&L and balance sheet accounts
- Support financial reporting and assist with management reporting packages
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, FP&A, and external auditors
- Assist with process improvements, documentation, and internal controls
- Support audit and ad hoc projects as needed
What They’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Public accounting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, inventory, or multi-entity environments is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
