Would you like to be a part of one of the most exciting companies in technology? NVIDIA is looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager to lead NALA Sales Development (SDS) coverage across multiple industries. You will manage Sales Development Specialists and own team quota attainment, daily coaching, performance management, and alignment with industry sales teams. This hands-on leader will join customer conversations, build industry-aligned outbound strategies, and help sellers create substantial pipeline while developing the skills and demonstrated readiness for future sales roles. Success requires delivering team sales results by translating industry priorities into effective campaigns, stronger customer discovery, and productive Account Manager and Solution Architect engagement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead daily coaching and performance management for a team of Sales Development Specialists across multiple NALA industries; own team quota attainment and set clear expectations for customer engagement, pipeline quality, and development.
  • Coach through one-to-ones, call reviews, role plays, and joint customer meetings, with particular emphasis on discovery, Account Manager and Solution Architect engagement, and industry go-to-market alignment.
  • Regularly join customer calls to understand the customers, use cases, and challenges sellers encounter; turn firsthand observations into practical coaching and enablement.
  • Own industry alignment with Account Managers and Regional Industry Sales Leaders; coordinate with Solution Architects, Industry Business Development, Marketing, and Channel on account priorities, ownership, and follow-up.
  • Translate industry priorities into targeted outbound account-development plans, sales plays, and campaigns; define intended customer outcomes, complete with industry partners, and use results to improve the approach.
  • Prioritize relevant pipeline generation and opportunity progression; evaluate outreach and event activity against industry objectives and customer value, and stop work that does not support those outcomes.
  • Own day-to-day account priorities, workload allocation, sales plays, routing exceptions, and performance actions; resolve industry execution issues and advance broader organizational dependencies to sales leadership.
  • Partner with operations and enablement teams to automate routine inbound response and triage, preserve appropriate follow-up and exception handling, and focus seller capacity on industry-aligned outbound development.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ overall years of overall sales experience in enterprise technology, including sales development, account development, business development, or field sales.
  • 5+ years of experience directly leading, coaching, and developing a sales, sales development, or account development team.
  • Strong demonstrated coaching skills, including customer discovery, field-sales and technical-team engagement, direct observation, actionable feedback, and sustained improvement in seller capability.
  • Experience managing performance and building individual development plans; ability to assess readiness for expanded responsibilities using demonstrated skills, judgment, and customer and business outcomes.
  • A track record of delivering against team quota and sales goals by aligning sales development with industry priorities and implementing outbound campaigns that generate relevant opportunities.
  • Experience collaborating with industry sales leaders, Account Managers, and Solution Architects, aligning partners without direct authority, and resolving day-to-day coverage and ownership issues.
  • Ability to prioritize accounts, allocate workload, and distinguish productive account development from activity that does not advance customer or industry objectives.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • A track record of developing sales development professionals into account management, business development, or other expanded sales roles through evidence-based coaching and readiness assessment.
  • Experience leading teams across multiple industries and translating different industry strategies into focused account-development plans and successful outbound campaigns.
  • Knowledge of NVIDIA platforms, routes to market, and organizational relationships, or experience navigating a similarly complex technology sales organization.
  • Understanding of AI, accelerated computing, enterprise software, and on-premises and public cloud customer use cases.
  • Experience partnering with operations teams on inbound automation and implementing approved AI-assisted workflows that improve outreach quality and seller productivity.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
