Job Summary/Description:

Gray Media is currently in search of a Scrum Master with Jira Admin experience to support Gray’s various Agile development teams. This role is primarily focused on facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams on Agile best practices, and removing impediments, with a secondary responsibility of maintaining and optimizing Jira workflows and reporting.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach teams on Scrum principles, Agile values, and continuous improvement.
• Help teams remove impediments and manage dependencies.
• Work with Product Owners to support backlog refinement and sprint readiness.
• Promote transparency, accountability, and healthy team dynamics.
• Track team metrics to improve predictability and support roadmap and initiative planning.
• Create Jira dashboards and reports that provide clear delivery insights for leadership.
• Administer and configure Jira projects, boards, workflows, and permissions.
• Create and manage reports and filters for teams and stakeholders.
• Assist teams with Jira questions, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as a Scrum Master on Agile teams.
• Scrum certification. (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent)
• Hands-on experience administering Jira in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, and team facilitation.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Experience supporting multiple teams or cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Kanban or hybrid Agile approaches.
• Experience with Jira Advanced Roadmaps or similar planning tools.
• Background working with software development teams.
